A 47-year-old member asked:
If being swab tested specifically for one infection does this mean it can pick up other problems?

Not likely: If the swab was sent for culture and grew a specific organism that is the probable cause of the infection if taken from the correct area and handled appropriately. It is not designated for other purposes.
