A member asked:

If wrist bones fused, does the child still grow?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

? growth plates?: You don't want your wrist bones to 'fuse' - this would make it impossible to bend or move your wrists. However, if you are talking about the growth plates in the arm bones by your wrists, then when these are fused/closed growth has indeed come to an end.
