A member asked:

Ever since i was a child i've had the bad habit of cracking my bones, my neck, elbow, nuckles, wrist, back, ankle, and toes. can this be a problem?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really: Although it may gross out people, it really hasn't been shown to cause long-term damage to the joints themselves. Subjectively people say their joints get stiffer when they're popped a lot, but x-rays don't usually show damage has occurred.
