It Depends!: Weight loss only occurs if your caloric intake is less than output. In other words, you burn more gas than you put in. If you have started a running program but not changed your diet, you may never lose weight. Every day that your output (daily expenditure plus exercise) is bigger than input, you will lose some weight. String a bunch of days together and you will notice the difference.
