A member asked:

Can my unstable shoulder get better without surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: It depends on your age and how many times it has dislocated. If this is a chronic problem for many years, it is likely to need surgery. If this is a recent injury, you may be able to avoid surgery with a good rehab program. Also, need to be concerned about a rotator cuff tear if symptoms continue.
