A member asked:

Is jumping rope ok for women after 40? doesnt that make uterus more likely to prolapse?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Go ahead!: Uterine prolapse is commonly caused by multiple factors: pregnancies, childbirth, obesity, smoking, menopause, asthma or copd, etc. If you already have prolapse, jumping rope certainly will not make it worse, and if you don't have prolapse, jumping rope won't cause it!
