Can you have an allergic reaction to the glue that holds you dental bridge in?

Depends: If your talking about a bridge that is not removeable it is very unlikely . If the cement is temporary there some materials that can be irritating and smell bad or like clove oil. Anything is possible and i suggest if there is irritation under a permanent bridge its looked at by your dental professional. Good luck.

Yes: In rare cases some individuals are allergic to not only the glue but other dental materials. If you are concerned there are tests that can be performed and a report generated that will tell both you and your dentist exactly what materials you can and can not use.

yes: You can have allergic reaction to anything, however, it is more likely that if you are experiencing an allergic reaction it is to the material that the bridge is constructed of assuming it is not all porcelain. There are many people who have metal allergies including to gold, silver and palladium. If the bridge has nonprecious metal that is likely the cause of your allergy.

Allergy to "glue": There are no known allergies to the "glue" cement that holds a brig in place.
