Weight loss diet: If you are on a weight loss diet, you may be at risk for vitamin deficiencies, especially if you are avoiding fruits, which you should, if you want to lose efficiently. A good multivitamin may be your best friend in this situation. I have my weight loss patients take multivitamins, calcium, potassium, and fish oil. They are on a very low carb, medically supervised diet and they lose quickly.

Diet pill: This is a repeat of what I have said before. My philosophy is that the best way to lose weight is not by dieting or a pill, but by changing your lifestyle to a healthier one. You don't need a drastic diet. Make small changes. Eat the right portions, eat 3-5 small meals a day, cut back on carbs and sugars, increase lean protein/veggie/fruit/water intake, ; start doing some cardiovascular exercise.
