A 42-year-old female asked:
What's wrong? 40 yo, female, not obese, not sedentary, sensible diet not high in salt, non smoker, non drinker, no drugs, with sudden high diastolic bp in the 85-90 range for a few weeks now, tachycardia, some dizziness, swollen left leg one day?

Any herbal supplements or decongestants? Major stress? Those can raise BP & heart rate. If not & it has been a few weeks I recommend evaluation by Dr & possibly tests for hyperthyroidism, heart rhythm problem, or a few other things

You have a blood clot in swollen leg would be my first concern.
