Fistula: Of the leg vessels(peripheral circulation) is not a mistake from cardiac vessel stents(central vascular circulation). However someone with poor vascular circulation in general often develops fistulas or collateral circulation. Ask your cardiologist about statins for secondary prevention.

Fistula: An arterial venous fistula is a known complication of these procedures. It does not necessarily require a mistake to form.
