Yes: Hypertension can affect patients of many ages and i see it occasionally in early childhood.It can arise from a recognized or undiagnosed medical condition, lifestyle choices, of from unknown causes. If your blood pressure is often high, you should see a physician and begin the process of finding out why.If a source cannot be eliminated, treatment in your 20's is reasonable.

Yes.: You can have hypertension at any age. Your age group is unusual and would make us think of secondary causes of high bp. Most importantly normal BP is 140/85 or less after resting for 5-10 minutes. It's normal to have higher bp's with exercise, stress, etc. So you may not even have hypertension.
