Root canal: It is quite possible there is an additional canal that was not discovered and filled or the tooth may be cracked. They may need to take a 3 dimensional x-ray (cat scan) to look for your problem. See your dentist or have an endodontist evaluate. If cracked the tooth would need to be removed.

Uncomfortable: If there is still discomfort 10 months after treatment, there is need for reevaluation. May be a problem with the root canal or with the crown. Start with return trip to treating Dentist. If no relief, next step is to see a root canal specialist, an Endodontist.
