No: Bruising occurs from bleeding into the soft tissues from trauma such as a needle stick. Aspiration is rarely successful in eliminating a ganglion, do not be surprised if it returns. Success rate is 30% for aspiration, multiple aspirations may increase that to aprox. 50%
