Need more info: Thorns, particularly rose thorns may transmit a rare form of infection, but what you are describing sounds like you may have had minor bleeding with secondary discoloration around the wound. If it does not swell up, become red and tender, or develop soft tissue nodules spreading upwards, do not worry.
