Yes: The scrape could certainly be infected. Wash well with soap and water, dry, then use an over the counter antibacterial ointment like bacitracin. If the area of redness gets larger instead of smaller, or if it becomes hot or throbbing, see a dr to determine if you need antibiotics by mouth.
