Rest, etc.: Tendinitis is usually from overuse, backing off, stretching , ice at first, and meds like motrin. Look at what set it off and change how you do it if possible.

Ice: Ice protecting the skin for 15-20 min. 5x/day. Anti-inflamatories, like Ibuprofen 3-4 times a day take it always with food. And gentle stretching.
