Diet and medication: A multidirectional approach aimed at decreasing the initiators, such as stress for some patients, a modification of the diet and obviously, medications directed at crohns disease are needed. Short term use of steroids is not unreasonable. A good relaitionship with your gastoenterologist is crucial.
