More info is needed: Severe iron deficiency needs to be explained---poor nutrition, menstrual blood loss, blood in stool--to clarify these issues is critical--the explanation for enlarged spleen may be as simple as a viral process or it could be significantly more of an issue. Your doctor needs to do some evaluations. Good luck.--or see an hematologist.
