Synergistic : If the ultram makes you tired the Phenergan (promethazine) will increase that sensation. The Prednisone will actually tend to make you more awake. The combination is unpredictable but at the dosage you have listed would be safe. I would recommend taking the Prednisone with food to keep from having an upset stomach. Always disclose all medicines you are taking to each of your physicians.
