Serious illness: For you to have been prescribed all these meds, I think you must have a serious infection. Tramadol is related to morphine -it's an opiate and can have similar side effects including constipation, itchiness and nausea among others. Prednisone is a steroid and also has a host of potential side effects-from increased blood sugars, to ulcers, to skin problems etc. If you're concerned-talk to a doctor

See below: Tramadol makes a number of people tired, some dizzy, and others nauseous. Take with food, and take the first dose later in the day if you can when you do not have to be driving soon, and strongly consider avoiding alcohol while taking this medication, as that may have an additive effect. Prednisone may upset the stomach, and cause alertness. Take with food and earlier in the day if possible.
