Hydromorphone : Should not be used for sleep. It's a pain medicine and should be used as such. Mirtazapine is safe to take, preferably by itself to reduce interactions with other drugs.

If doc prescribes: Yes, but only if you do not have sleep apnea without CPAP coverage and only if you are already used to the hydro -morphone. Follow your doctors directions. There will be combined but not compounded sedation with these two. No drinking of course. Night light for middle of the night pee trips is advisable. Make sure there is nothing on the floor you can trip over. Take care.
