I had been taking vicks nyquil severe for covid symptoms, and would like to take my mirtazapine to help me sleep. my last dose of nyquil was 27 hours ago. am i safe to take my mirtazapine or should i try to wait another night?

You don’t want to take both of these at the same time because both are very sedating-it could decrease your breathing while you sleep. If you took a regular dose of the NyQuil then it is probably ok to take the mirtazapine after 24hours. But, if you took a larger dose, then you might want to wait a bit longer. If you are still feeling any effects of the NyQuil then wait. Good luck!!
