how long after spinal fusion can blood clot occur?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Behnam Myers
19 years experience Orthopedic Spine Surgery
Clots: Blood clots after spinal surgery are the least common in orthopedic surgery. However a blood clot can happen almost at any time. The less someone had been or is walking before or after a surgery can help predict the likelihood. However there is no exact formula.
