Chest pain: There can be many reasons for sharp chest pain. It can costochondritis- muscle and none pain, pleurisy - inflamed linings of lungs or gastrointestinal reflux. Cardiac etiology cannot be ruled out so please see your doctor asap for history physical and examination.
