A member asked:

Should i take ciprofloxacin if i have a yeast infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: This depends on what you are using the Ciprofloxacin for. It will not cure yeast infections and may prolong the yeast infection or create an environment for reinfection after treatment. If the Ciprofloxacin is for another infection and needed to cure that, the therapy for the yeast infection may need to be prolonged.
