Leave it alone: Unclear question. You can use a gentle compression wrap but doubt you need any significant treatment unless the swelling is extensive in which case you should see a doctor.

When blood vessels get leaky at the site, WBCs get in & that part remains swelled or inflamed. Why do I have high WBCs in my swelled ankles & knees when there is no injury & edema goes away in recumbency..while low WBCs in my blood ?? Explain plz?
