Difficult: This is difficult to answer without being able to see the lesion but it could be a burst varicose vein or could also be a ruptured cyst behind the knee. You should be examined by your doctor.

Pain behind the knee. Just one knee I dont recall doing anything to sprain a muscle or tear anything. Could it be a blood clot? My veins on that side are also sticking out a little more then normal. Not constant pain but it hurts if I lean back onit?
