How can a ganglion of the knee be treated?

Drain or excision: There are three options for a ganglion about the knee. First, it can be left alone. Second it can be drained in the office. This will not completely remove the cyst but it may be gone but may return. Third it can be removed in the OR. This will remove it for good.
