Gabapin (Gabapentin): Is a relatively new anticonvulsant and is not used for dental pain. See your dentist to eliminate any dental pain. It will not go away on its own, so it's important not to ignore the symptoms.

Sometimes: Gabaphin (Gabapentin) is often used to treat atypical odontalgia. This is a specific diagnosis. Would not help routine dental pain.
