Possibly: Smoking marijuana decreases focus and concentration, and effects short term memory.  This means that it might be more difficult to understand what you are studying; and even if you do understand it, it might be harder for you to remember what you have learned.

A lot : A learning disability implys that a person has a specific disability in acquiring the skills in a specific area consistent with their average overall performance. Reading & math are examples. Although this may lead to some stress, it is not a mental health issue. Mh issues imply that a person has difficulty with issues such as depression or psychosis. They have skills to  be fine in learning.

Have testing done: Educational psychologists have a variety of tests that screen for learning styles/disabilities as well as mental issues. Poor mental health can often impair ones ability to learn. It would be reasonable to seek clarification after you have a basic physical exam & tests to be sure no health issue is aggravating your problems.

Some thoughts...: There are many signs that may suggest depression, such as:  feelings of sadness or hopelessness, angry outbursts or irritability, loss of interest in normal activities, sleep disturbances, tiredness or a lack of energy, either weight gain or weight loss due to appetite changes, anxiety or restlessness, slowed thinking, feeling worthless, etc...  Seeing one's primary care doctor is a good start.

i have short term memory loss and i was diagnosed with a learning disability. my mom was percenta previa and that made me come 3 months early. i had a 2nd and 3rd grade brain bleed. i was diagnosed with mild cp. could this cause me to have problems?

: Certainly. Most of those with this type of history would be expected to have changes in their learning and movement abilities after brain bleeds. Especially the 3rd degree bleeds. Many of those do not survive.

Lots of issues here.: I agree with the earlier recommendation that you have a medical workup.  Your regular doctor may rule out some organic causes for some of your symptoms. But, ultimately a psychiatric evaluation would be important.

It is possible: There have been studies to show that things such as the ability to multitask can be impaired by chemotherapy. 
There are other issues with hormonal blocking medicines in some patients as well.

Varies : Some congenital heart problems r associated with learning problems. Some genetic disorders are associated with both too. Secondary learning problems can occur in babies delivered before 38 weeks (for example if the cardiac prob caused labor) or subjected to major health problems in the first month of life. If the heart problem causes decreased blood oxygen, then the developing brain can suffer.

Get evaluated: Speak with a psychologist. They can evaluate your symptoms and help choose a corse of treatment. You can then decide whether to consider a trial on medication.
