Eye droop: This sounds like facial nerve weakness.  Have you had a bell's palsy (paralysis of the vii nerve)?  This commonly evolves over a six month period but if persistent can be assisted by surgical support of the drooping side of the face.

Improbable: Are you saying a man sick with meningitis was at a party and drinking alcohol? And you think you can get meningitis this way?  Your scenario is so unfathomable that I am not sure what you are worrying about.  Was he ill? Did he have a fever? Do you feel ill? Do you have a fever?

i am having trouble with parts of my face i can wink with my right eye but not my left, if i close both eyes i can open and close my left but not my right... the left side of my face(cheeks near the mouth) is not working right if i drink it spills out tha

As : As per the previous doctor's response, anytime you have facial and visual involvement a stroke must be considered. A less serious but very annoying diagnosis may be a bell's palsy. This is an inflammation of the facial nerve causing compression of the nerve as it passes from the brain stem into the face. This nerve supplies the muscles of the side of the face (of course there is a facial nerve for each side of the face). Causes are viral infection, lyme disease, and idiopathic( means we don't know). Treatment can include antiviral drugs and/or steroids. A bell's palsy usually starts getting better in 4-5 weeks.
I hope that by now you have been checked out.

my 19 month old fell out of her high chair that attaches to the table - the side latch broke and she fell on the back of her head on the floor- it feels like a little bump - she is acting, walking and talking normally for now should i take her in ?

Keep watch: At 19 months, you should be able to tell if there is any change in her behavior. Any signs of irritability, nausea/vomiting, sleepiness or changes in gait/vision/hearing would be red flags indicating that you would need to get her to the hospital.

See MD immediately: What you describe could be an entity called Bell's Palsy. If a rash were to appear in the same area this could be Shingles. Shingles can occur without a rash but Bell's Palsy is more likely. Usually the symptoms of Bell's Palsy fully resolve completely but not always. You should see an MD immediately and start treatment. Use artificial tears to protect your eye. Close eye and patch when you sleep.

No: Hepatitis will not be transmitted in this fashion.

Pink eye: The chance is small and don't be shy about telling him not to spit in your eye.
If the eye is still troubling please have your doctor refer you to an Eye specialist.

(Not fun - I broke 4 pairs of glasses at age 6 and have been taking care of my eyes till now - age 72.)

i just started getting this but when i drink water or swallow anything with my eyes facing the ceiling (head up) it hurts terribly. it feels like it on both sides of my neck and im not sure what it is. thanks! (also hurts when i yawn?

: Yes, it can happen due to cricopharyngeal spasm so you should avoid face up the ceiling when eating or drinking.

i have bumps on the left side of my tongue and have been their for months now. they don't hurt nor do they prevent me from drinking, eating, talking.

Usually taste buds: Malignancies of the tongue are seen mostly  in drinkers and smokers.  When they appear they start as a leukoplakia or white patch or more commonly as a superficial ulcerating lesion on lateral side of tongue.  These lesions progress in size.  They do not appear as "bumps". Have H&amp;N  exam and possible bx is suspicious.

hey doc!! plz help me i'm 18 and i noticed that my face is uneven, like the right side of my face is lower than the other side and it made my eye, cheek and mouth corner droopy is there something natural i can do like not a facelift or injections?

Every face is uneven: Thank you for your question!  If you look closely enough every face is asymmetric.  Typically these are addressed using fillers and botox injections, not something natural.  Best of luck!
