See MD immediately: What you describe could be an entity called Bell's Palsy. If a rash were to appear in the same area this could be Shingles. Shingles can occur without a rash but Bell's Palsy is more likely. Usually the symptoms of Bell's Palsy fully resolve completely but not always. You should see an MD immediately and start treatment. Use artificial tears to protect your eye. Close eye and patch when you sleep.
