i am taking combivor amd stocrin and my hands and feet ache a lot especially my feet i seem to have to much acid in my body what can i do?

Contact your doctor: Combivir (lamivudine and zidovudine) is a nrtis and stocrin is a nnrtis. I checked epocrates and the two drugs together do not have adverse drug interactions. However some of the symptoms your are describing are common side effects of  combivir (lamivudine and zidovudine).  Combir  can cause lactic acidosis and myopathy. The best person to evaluate you is your doctor.

Fairly common: These symptoms are common after many types of chemotherapy. It may be due to small blood vessel damage. Speak with your oncologist about these symptoms and she can advise you regarding appropriate therapy in your situation. I hope you feel better soon!

Cold: Some people are more intolerant of cold than others. Other possibilities include being underweight, anxious,anemic, having underactive thyroid or adrenal insufficiency. When your extremities are cold,your body is shunting blood circulation into the core of your body to warm it up. Perhaps all you need is to wear more clothing than others around you.

You might have: Something called raynauds.  It is not serious but if you live where it is cold, then this condition caused especially fingertips , fingers and toes to turn bluish purple and sometimes even white.  People who have it really bad will find it happens even when putting their hand in the freezer at home or in the grocery store. Verapamil sometimes helps but other meds might help more.

HFMD: This may be a viral infection called Hand Foot and Mouth disease. This disease lasts 7-10 days and is usually a mild infection in adults. There is no specific treatment. To relieve sore throat, gargle with warm salt water or suck on lozenges. Take Tylenol as needed.

If you have further concerns, consult your physician for evaluation and advice.
