Hand,foot and mouth: This is characteristic of hand, foot and mouth viral disease which, in adults, resolves within a week or so. Take Tylenol, drink adequate fluids, gargle with warm salt water or suck on lozenges.. You can take antihistamine medications if itching becomes a problem. If you have further concerns, consult your physician for evaluation and advice.
