I see Spots.: With not much to go on, there is not much to say. Consider, infection, such as fungal. Environmental, such as staining, dirt etc., could be remotely responsible. I think the best bet, however, involves a melanin hyperpigmentation issue. The nature of which can only be determined after a thorough evaluation.

Many possible things: You need to have them checked by podiatrist or dermatologist. Without physical examination it is difficult to answer because there are so many possible causes. Some very simple to some very serious. Best of luck!

Brown spots: These may be venous stasis changes associated with poor circulation? You should see your dermatologist.

Many causes: Some dark skinned people just have pigmented spots on their feet.

If you're certain they weren't there yesterday- they can due to viral infections, bacteria like Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever; but usually also have fever &amp; swollen lymph nodes. (+50 other things like drug reactions, syphilis, or life threatening diseases like meningitis).

If you're having fever/ headache/ body aches see a doc.

Need a photograph pl: Without being seen in a photo/examination in person, difficult to tell as there are quite a few conditons. Any other symptoms other than hyperpigmentation.

May need a doctor: If a person gets small brown spots on the bottom of his feet, sometimes they are warts. Other times they are a fungus. If fungus, twice a day over-the-counter lotrimin (clotrimazole) af for 2-3 weeks may solve the problem. If warts, a primary care doctor or dermatologist will likely have to freeze them off. A visit to the doctor can help get a diagnosis, and see if the spots aren't something else.

No harm no foul.: They R probably nothing. The fact that you just noticed them now does not mean that they just appeared. May have been there a while. I would do nothing, just watch them. If they spread or hurt or feel raised &amp; rough see a dermatologist.

Spots on the foot: With spots on the skin it is hard to tell without seeing them.  However, use the simple ABCDE test and if anything suspicious see your doctor.  A: Asymmetry, can you draw a line in the center and make equal halves.  B: Border, are they smooth or jagged.  C: Color, is it more than one color?  D: Diameter, is it larger than a pencil eraser?  E: Elevation, is it raised when you run your finger over
