Alcohol: It is difficult to answer your question.  Alcohol drinks have different strengths (alcohol content).  However, on average, each drink has about 14 grams of alcohol.  For men to drink more than 60 grams of alcohol per day is excessive and at risks for many complications, especially liver failure.  Suggest 2 glasses of red wine for men.

Help him want it: Assuming that you have told him your concerns and he still doesn't want to go. You can try asking for couples therapy so he doesn't feel like you are blaming him. Sometimes staging an intervention with friends and family works. Remember, if he doesn't want to go he won't go. Good luck to both of you.

Yes and no: The general answer is yes, alcohol is not part of a balanced nutrition & not needed for normal body maintenance.Males get somewhat of a pass when it comes to the effect of alcohol on fertility. Unlike women who nurture a finite number of eggs, the male can generate new healthy sperm by the millions daily. Normal sperm  would swim better than any affected by alcohol, so it's impact is less on outcome.

Possible.: All statin meds are capable of elevating the liver enzymes.  However, there are many many other causes which should be investigated before chalking it up to that.  Should repeat the test.

Maybe OK, but...: ...alcohol isn't always reliable. If you had your husband are sharing (or recently had) a cold caused by the same virus, no harm would come. But either of you could be carrying different cold viruses, even when you have no symptoms. Why take the chance? HydraSense and other saline nasal sprays are cheap and you should each have your own (and keep them labeled with your initials).

Insightful question: I must say yes even though  I am not aware of any confirmed evidence.   Alcohol can effect hormone levels in men and the combo likely has you concerned.   We are talking about the future father!   Any anxiety on your part can interfere with conception.   
  Of course there are many reasons for difficulty with conception but asking  your loved one to stop smoking and limit alcohol use sounds good.
