Insightful question: I must say yes even though I am not aware of any confirmed evidence. Alcohol can effect hormone levels in men and the combo likely has you concerned. We are talking about the future father! Any anxiety on your part can interfere with conception. Of course there are many reasons for difficulty with conception but asking your loved one to stop smoking and limit alcohol use sounds good.
