Question cut off: but please let you dentist know. I occasionally see people with severe pain and have dental problems / have undergone dental procedures. Even if their NSAID or narcotic isn't completely controlling their pain - often the addition of auricular (ear) acupuncture does the trick. This is one option you can discuss with your dentist/ oral surgeon.

took 10mg temazepam before tooth extraction to calm nerves. dentist prescribed panadeine forte for pain. will i be okay to take this?

Only: The only one who knows your medical and dental histories and your physiology is your Dentist.  If your Dentist was concerned he/she would not have prescribed these medications.  You trust your Dentist to do surgery, trust him/her to prescribe the appropriate medications.

my dentist sewed my cheek to my gum during an upper wisdom tooth extraction. now the gum is permanently fuse to my cheek. is this normal?

More info needed: How far post op are you with the extraction? Are you absolutely sure you have a sinus communication? If so, your dentist needs to manage your post surgical situation or refer you to an oral surgeon. All the best.

sore above right canine tooth, appeared a year after tooth extraction. started out as a cranker sore and now is red and and inflamed no pain. its been a month and it has not gone away went to the dentist and said that nothings wrong should i worry?

Besides, from Philadelphia I don't know who practices in the East rand. You will have to call around until you find help. Know that extraction should always be a last resort. Better to try to save the tooth, if possible. Discuss options with your new Dentist.

Sinus communication: Test to see if the roots of the extracted tooth went into the sinus and the removal of the tooth has resulted in a communication between the oral and sinus cavities. If so then suturing the site and or bone grafting can be done to close the perforation. Also antibiotics to minimize the risk of infection maybe indicated.
