The average american gets plenty of protein in their diet but you have to add it up to know for sure.  Excessive calories, no matter the source, contribute to fat development and not extra muscle.

If your 'dizziness' continues or worsens or involves other complaints notify your athletic trainer and university physician.Simple causes such as dehydration are common; however other etiologies are possible but less likely. Loosing Weight: If you are trying to lose weight and train 4 hours a day with a 2000 cal diet that is a lot of time and not much caloric intake.  Muscle weighs more then fat so you may be actually gaining weight from lowering your % of body weight and increasing muscle mass.  Are you finding that your waist is slimmer ? Have you also noticed other areas that have trimmed down?  If you answer yes then don't worry.

An ectopic early bet arises in either the upper (pac) or lower (PVC) chamber with a subsequent pause and then a normal beat after.  The event often feels like a real strong beat (base drum) after the pause.  These occur either on their own or in te setting of increased sympathetic or stimulant effect on heart.

Teen athlete: It scares me a bit to hear you comment a 13 year old is "living like a pro". His body just is not ready for the stressors that pro athletes endure, and this lifestyle at such a young age has a very high rate of burn-out associated with it. If there is a sports medicine doc in your area, it would be worth the investment to consult them for an age appropriate regimen, diet and sleep schedule.

Gain weight: Eat a healthy diet and observe regular exercise. Working out doing weights and aerobics (cardio) will bulk up your muscles and you'll eventually get buffed. There's no need for protein drinks. Just eat eggs, chicken, fish, beans, vegetables and fruits and drink fat-free milk. You can also consider the mediterranean diet.

Heart rate: Though the textbook definition of bradycardia (slow HR) is &lt; 60, young people &amp; athletes often have a HR much slower than this at rest.
