doctor gave me zinnat500 and klacid 250
should i take them together?

Accepted Answer

Antibiotics: Zinnat or cefuroxime and Klacid or clarithromycin. There are no interactions between these medications, and they should be OK to take together. GI upset is more common with clrithromycin, so may be good to take with food.

in had evb and mono around october 2019 and lymph nodes on my neck. i dont know their sizes. by december lymph nodes were still there and i saw a doctor who says they take 6 months to clear. do i wait or go check that its not lymphoma?

Watch and wait: You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!

i am having a partial masectomy i have a small tumor. my doctor said they will take out tumor and lymph nodes. will there be two incisions or one?

2 incisions: Small radial incision used to  remove the breast primary and then bx or excision site reconstructed by placing fine hook in medial incision near nipple, elelvating nipple so site looks like inversted ice cream cone and base and then other tissues approximated.  A second small incision made in axilla after injecting dye at tumor site to define sentinel nodes and Axillary dissection if nodes pos.

my doc. said that i should take metronidazole bec. he found pharyngeal lymph nodes or something like that, but i feel fine. should i still take it? ty

Follow Dr. Advice: Tom, I really do not feel comfortable in advising you on this situation without the ability to examine you.  Since you have seen your doctor and have had an examination by him/her, I think I would follow the doctors advice.  Do not drink alcohol with THAT medication.  It will make you sick.

found 2 enlarged, moveable lymph nodes in neck & collarbone, went to doc, had full cbc done and results were normal. will they eventually go away?

Not necessarily: May b from an infection as a uri,  ; they may or may not. If so, they may decrease but not go away.

Reactive nodes : The lymph nodes are most likely a reaction to infection or inflammation and a way that the body reacts to these conditions. The baby is due for vaccinations at the age of two months and this may be discussed at the time. Watch for signs of infection including fever and rash.

Take it out: Since they are causing  symptoms and bothering you to search for help and they have been for a while i consider removing one for biopsy and getting a correct diagnosis.

Sounds like: Oropharynx (base of tongue, tonsil, hypopharynx, supraglottic larynx as primary, there are chains of nodes on both sides of the neck, the more & the bigger involved, the less favorable. Hx: smoking/alcohol: if not hpv genome check in tumor. Standard: chemo/rt. Some prefer chemo first, then chem/rt with neck dissection to follow, especially for residual nodes.

starting june 1st the lymph nodes in my throat swell.  i went to the doctor after a week, she gave me a zpac and told me to take vitamins c, d, e, zinc.  but, still my lymph nodes will go away for about a week but then come back. making my voice hors?

Complete eval.: A complete physical examination with evaluation for other lymph nodes that are swollen, is suggested. Blood work and a biopsy of the node may be ordered at the visit. It may take  several weeks after an illness for reactive lymph nodes to diminish. Your voice hoarseness for months necessitates a flow volume loop and voice rest. Drink soothing liquids with honey.

i have multiple feelable lymph nodes all over my body in pairs. my doctor said they feel fine but they feel above 5mm to me so how could they be. she said there likley feelable due to me being slim. but why likley if shes sure to what she felt?
