Ceruloplasmin is also important in iron metabolism.

You likely need further evaluation of your liver and possibly a test for urine copper.  While not emergent, treatment should be started as soon as diagnosis is confirmed, as you risk damaging your liver, kidneys, heart, and brain tissues in the meantime.

See a hepatologist for further testing.

Ceruloplasmin may be low in patients without Wilson disease &amp; may be normal or elevated in patients with Wilson disease  As a result low ceruloplasmin level is not sufficient to make diagnosis of Wilson disease &amp; a normal level does not rule it out. A low level may mean you have 1/2 genes, heterozygote. Why were you tested?
