Possible-see MD: Low ceruloplasmin levels can be associated with an inherited liver disorder called Wilson's Disease. This can lead to liver failure associated with tremor and confusion. The diagnosis of Wilson disease is made by relatively simple tests. The tests can diagnose the disease in both symptomatic patients and people who show no signs of the disease. See a hepatologist for further testing.
