Polyps: are removed during colonoscopy while you are sedated, using cautery.  There are no nerve endings in the base of the polyp, so it shouldn't be painful.  After removing it, you should be able to eat a healthy diet.

Nasonex (mometasone) &amp; Singulair: There is no medication or dietary change that will reverse a deviated septum. This is a structural problem and requires surgery to correct. Nasonex (mometasone) (nasal steroid spray) and Singulair can help prevent further growth of allergic nasal polyps and can help prevent recurrence after they are surgically removed. Oral steroids like prednisone can shrink polyps but this is a short-term fix - will recur.

Anything.: You can eat anything when you have internal hemorrhoids as long as you avoid constipation and don't strain. Easiest way to take a tablespoon of Metamucil dissolve in 12 glass of water and follow with one glass of water.

had colonoscopy 6 months ago was diagnosed with diverticulosis otherwise no cancer or polyps the last 2 days i have had red to maroon color and small particles of food in stools could i have colon cancer or anal cancer after only 6 months of test?

Unlikely: If the colonoscopy was done with proper colon preparation you are unlikely to have colon cancer. You are more likely to have developed hemorrhoids, but it would still be prudent to see your doctor as even hemorrhoids can cause enough blood loss to result in anemia.

i have frequent sinus infections with a history of nasal polyps. it seems as if dairy worsens my sinuses. is this common? does this mean i'm allergic to dairy? should i have food allergy tests completed?

Possibly: Yes, you could have a food allergy, but dairy products as increase mucous production as well as making the mucous thicker. With the addition of a polyp, the sinuses have a hard time draining thicker mucous and block the sinuses and trap bacteria. The mucous is thickened for sugar molecules and is a great food sorce for the trapped bacteria, leading to an infection.

about a hour after dinner if it's a heavy meal.it feels like food is stuck in my throat. i had a transnasal upper endoscopy years ago for excessive heart burn.they found polyp on my throat they biopsied&came back normal.what other tests could i get?

: Time to take another look as polyps have a tendency to keep growing locally. Best would be to work with a gastroenterologist, ideally the same one that performed the procedure years ago or at least same group. Imaging in the form of upper gi series are very useful in such conditions.

Depends: If these are colon polyps, you should get regular colonoscopies to remove them without formal surgery. All colon cancers develop from polyps, so not removing them can increase your risk to develop colon cancer. See a colorectal surgeon or gastroenterologist and have colonoscopy reports and pathology reports with you for them to evaluate and offer you the proper guidance.

Hormonal: Polyps are usually an overgrowth of normal tissue.  This on ocassion can degenerate to malignant tissue.  Endometrial polyps are usually found on scrapings of the lining of the uterus or by looking into the uterus with a scope.  Biopsy will tell one if it is of concern or benign.  It has to do the the very fast turnover of the uterine tissue due to monthly menses.

No: Gall bladder polyps should not cause any discomfort unless the are big enough to block the outlet to the gall bladder
