NOT OKAY!!!: I don't think drinking soft drinks is ok for anyone! they have extremely high levels of sugar (esp. High fructose corn syrup) and if "diet" forms then have nutrasweet, which is even more toxic. Anyone who has any interest in being healthy should hardly ever drink this poison! and yes, the acidity worsens risk of kidney stones. i take gaviscon and i have been drinking seltzer waters that are flavored naturally all day. i read not to take with citric acid or it increases the aluminum. now im worried, isnt there citric acid in carbonated drinks?

: Yes, taking citric acid solution along with Gaviscon can increase aluminum absorption but this interaction is only clinically significant in patients with advanced kidney disease because aluminum will be accumulated and cause toxicity. Furthermore, there is no citric acid in pure carbonated drink.

i have gerd and i'm trying to find something other than 1% milk, tea, coffee, and water to drink. it can't have caffeine, carbonation, or citric acid?

DGL is used to: help with acid reflux and is safe.  If you take licorice that is not DGL, over time it can raise your blood pressure.  Please consult w/your doc.  Peace and good health. No : Cranberry has citric acid in it but it is a berry found on a low lying shrub. It also has antioxidants and vitamin c.   It is not considered a citric fruit though.

Hyperacidity can be very uncomfortable.

It can be due to various foods, medical condition or stress.
Citric acid is used as a preservative and it  can aggravate acidity.

For hyperacidity, Ayurveda advises to avoid vinegar, tomatoes, sour citrus fruits, orange juice, salsa, onions, garlic, chili peppers, salty fried foods, and alcohol.

i wonder about using skincare that contains exfoliating ingredients on eyelids for anti aging. can i use products on eyelids thats fine using around eye area but contains for ex citric acid and ist good for anti aging? recommend something else?

NO: Nothing containing aspirin should be given to a child unless prescribed by a cardiologist because of a heart condition or a rheumatologist for autoimmune disorders. Under no other circumstances should anything with aspirin be given.
