Another test: Generally speaking he should have 1 or 2 more semenanalysis first to see if there is a pattern. Next if there is a pattern of abnormalities need to see urologist for exam. Low motility and decreased numbers may indicate a varicicele but other issues also can be present. He may also need blood tests for testosterone, LH, and FSH

Q: my 12 yr old u/s of lymph node says: morphologically normal lymph node, further evaluation as clinically warranted. what does that mean. ?

Normal: It means its normal is size and shape and consistency. Further evaluation as clinically warranted means-- depending on the reason for the ultrasound- and what you doctor thinks given these results, will dictate whether he or she decides more testing is necessary.

Q: what does "interventricular septum intact" means on cardiac mri for morphology report? does it mean septum is of normal size.what's upper normal limit

we run a pediatric ot clinic. do we have to consider and dispose of dirty diapers as bio-hazardous materials? we do not have a service set up for proper bio-hazard disposal. we double bag diapers and gloves with drool on them, and throw them in the trash.

In : In any of the pediatric clinics I have worked in in pa or ca, dirty diapers were not considered bio-hazardous materials and did not have to be disposed of in any special way.  That being said, different states have different requirements.

ms? i am 26 and i am on week 7 of symptoms very consistent with ms. they did an mri and said the mri is normal. does this mean that i do not have it?

No: No. An M.R.I. can be helpful in diagnosis of MS, but it is not a test that if negative rules it out, particularly early. The history and physical and observation with some other tests can help.

is it normal to be nauseated a lot when u have stomach ulcers? also um told to avoid milk, does this mean other things such as yogurt,cheese n such?

Common: Nausea is a common symptom of peptic ulcer disease(PUD).  Food wise, it isn't necessary to avoid diary.  Classically, PUD patients are told to eat healthy balanced diets.  Also, avoid foods that cause discomfort.  For many this often involves alcohol, coffee, caffeinated soda, fatty foods, and spicy foods.  Diary can lead to increased acid secretion to many GI's will recommend stopping it.

i am male 31 never has sexual experience. sometimes i feel when i stand i have penis erection (do not mean it is very weak) and when i sit on feet (like we sit our load on feet) the erection is better than standing. is that perfectly normal?

Yes: What you described is not a cause for concern.

i took a hvs and the result showed candida and staphylococcus. i do not have symptoms for any of these my discharge is normal and there's no itching or smell. does that mean the infection isn't serious and does it need to be treated?

: The candida, though not symptomatic, should be treated with Fungal Vaginal Suppository which the Doctor who did the HVS can prescribe.  More importantly, men tend to be asymptomatic carriers of chronic candida so  if one is sexually active the man should see the urologist or get oral antifungal Rx. The Staphylococcus is most likely a contaminant and may not require treatment but check with the Doc
