My 12 yr old u/s of lymph node says: morphologically normal lymph node, further evaluation as clinically warranted. what does that mean. ?

Normal: It means its normal is size and shape and consistency. Further evaluation as clinically warranted means-- depending on the reason for the ultrasound- and what you doctor thinks given these results, will dictate whether he or she decides more testing is necessary.

Variable: May be enlarged for several reasons. Sometimes inflammation. Unlikely to be cancer, or metastatic, but still may be worth biopsy.
