EKG: Ekg by itself doesn't mean anything. It has to be matched with the clinical picture. For example hear attack symptoms with st elevation can be active  heart attack.  Minimal st elevation  without any symptoms could be something called j point elevation. Low voltage  most of the time are normal but rarely could be seen in  fluid around the heart.

Need old EKG: Low voltage means the tracing showed low amplitudes (i.e., the "spikes" were not very tall). By low stomach do you mean lower abdomen or the lower part of the stomach at the left above the level of the belly button? If the latter, then one needs to consider a bleeding ulcer. Was low blood vit B12 or iron count documented before you took the vitamin?

: The T wave on an EKG is a pattern formed during relaxation of the heart muscle while the QRS is formed during contraction of the heart muscle. Your borderline T wave abnormality is very nonspecific &amp; may or may not be due to structural heart muscle abnormality. Low voltage has varied causes like cardiomyopathy,obesity, fluid in heart sac,underactive thyroid,emphysema, etc. Consult a cardiologist

: Borderline low voltage T waves is a very nonspecific EKG finding especially if the rest of the tracing was within normal limits with normal voltage of the QRS complexes. If these also had low voltage, various conditions such as infiltrating heart muscle pathology, emphysema, obesity, pericardial fluid accumulation can be causes. Your MD will decide if a repeat EKG or other testing is advisable

Thalassemia: Thalassemia , also called "Mediterranean anemia " , affects people from that area as well as descendants of the same.  There are basically 2 forms- Major and Minor. Most likely your's is minor. Most people wit this form are OK but do exhibit tiredness and other symptoms of low blood count.

: The reason it was read OTHERWISE NORMAL EKG because of the "borderline short PR interval and low voltage" which are not rare findings with computer reading for 12 lead EKG.  I read those findings all the times, almost every day when making rounds in the hospitals. A cardiologist or internist has to review the EKG but there is nothing to worry, you will be cleared for the surgery by my opinion.
