Many possibilities: You may have acne rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, perineal dermatitis, or some other inflammatory skin condition. See your doctor or dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. You may need topical and/or oral antibiotics, antifungals.

3 yo is on amoxicillin for strep, 5 days now. but she has lesions that look like hand, foot, mouth. do i keep giving her the antibiotics?

Confirmed strep ?: If the strep was confirmed by office testing before treatment, you should finish treatment. If your treatment source looked at the throat and just treated assuming it was strep, call them and discuss your options.A kid can have both illnesses at the same time and finishing the antibiotic would not hurt the course of hfm.

It's : It's possible some food or bacteria is caught under the bridge, which will inflame the gum tissue. Inflammed tissue will swell a bit, hence the pressure.

Try to use some floss for bridges (superfloss, etc) to get underneath the bridge to clean it out.
A water pic may also be useful. If you can't seem to dislodge anything, then a trip to your dentist would be a good idea.
