I doubt it ...: but maybe there are a few too many uncommon events for comfort: open skin, rusty spots, etc. The signs and symptoms of tetanus (lock jaw) are not pain where it entered but muscle spasms, jaw cramping, trouble swallowing etc. But I think a prompt doctor visit is warranted in any case for a brief exam and updating your tetanus vaccine at a minimum. Keep dry and clean: Peeling and cracking of the skin between the toes can be due to several reasons;
1) sweaty feet with socks that let moisture linger
2) athletes' foot
3) eczema
For the first, keep feet dry, use cotton socks and let shoes dry out. For the second using a fungal cream such as Tinactin (tolnaftate) can help. For the eczema, work with doctor to use hydrocortisone cream to heal and lotion that keeps moisture away.

Pompholyx Eczema: Eczematous dermatitis represents an inflammatory response of the skin to many different external & internal stimulants. The cause of many forms of eczema is unknown & the diagnosis is often difficult. There are many different types of eczema. 
A dermatologist is recommended. 
Topical corticosteroids should be tried but they are unpredictable & improvement may be temporary.

Yes and No: Yes... one can get a Tdap shot if the person is an adult and hasn't gotten a Td or Tdap shot in the last 10 years, regardless of the current incident. No... if the person's tetanus shot within the past 10 years was Td or Tdap, there is no special worry about tetanus in such scenarios.
