Pimples: You may have a form of folliculitis or furinculosis. See your doctor or a dermatologist. The pustules should be cultured to see if a bacteria is there or if they are sterile. In that case a biopsy would be indicated. Are you overweight? Your hormone levels may have to be checked. Needs evaluation and treatment.

Maybe: Sounds like a viral infection, possibly hsv.  If they hurt, i would avoid contact with others and see your doctor asap.

Safe: Also useless, a waste of money. You are not describing a infection and this cream will not benefit anything. You had best see a dermatologist and begin by defining these lesions. Any treatment must flow from the diagnosis.

Variable :   If they are only  discolored areas  caused by past inflammation , they can fade in a 3-6 months  . Scars with raised or depressed areas in the skin indicate deeper damage and can take longer  and may need  consultation with   a dermatologist , who might advise  topical creams , retinoic  skin care products, fillers etc .

i popped a pimple and it dried up in a day and now there's a scab on my forehead. i use the 3 step benzac (benzoyl peroxide) acne solutions as a face wash.

Keep clean: washing over the scab gently. Avoid removing the scab as this will probably result in bleeding and delay healing.  In the future, avoid popping pimples. There is an antibiotic ointment called Metrogel which can help prevent the development of pimples by applying it twice a day as soon as you feel a pimple starting to develop.  Consult a physician about Metrogel &amp; other medical treatments for acne.

Not recommended. : Steroid creams are not suitable for acne. 
Need regimen of cleansers, antimicrobial topical or systemic and further down the line retinoids if initial don't work. Steroid cream can exacerbate the pimples of infected.

Salicylic Acid: Over the counter benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid 2% wipes as well as retinol containing skin care products (roc makes over the counter ones) are good acne products to use.
